About Us

The McIntosh Chiefettes Dance Team is a competitive dance team competiting at the state, regional, and national competitions.​  Auditions for the team are in the Spring each year, and the Chiefettes train, condition, and practice year round.


The team travels to Universal Dance Association (UDA) camp each summer to qualify for the National Dance Team Championship, the largest and most prestigious high school dance team competition in the world.


The Chiefettes dance and cheer on the sidelines of Varsity Football games, as well as perform during halftime of Varsity Basketball games.


The Chiefettes compete at 3-4 competitions throughout the winter season.  The Chiefettes have had a historically strong showing at each competition, including awards such as Grand Champions, Best Choreography, and Most Crowd Appeal.  The Chiefettes have won a 1st place trophy at over 97% of the competitions they have attended in the past 12 years under the direction of Coach Carmen Yarbrough.
